Next up I present you an exercise with a single guitar without a backing track, a tapping lick pretty much in the style of Joe Satriani ("Day at the Beach" & "Midnight" songs).

A technique that is very used in music styles such as Grindcore and Death metal, bands like Cannibal Corpse are fond users of this kind of playing. Tremolo picking is when you play one note rapidly. It's basically alternate picking but faster!

This is the 2nd part of the Farruca which can be played after the first Farruca lesson. The tremolo is a difficult technique, but at least in this piece it is all done on the 1st string.
